I love the sound of running water in the garden! This fountain is solar powered, another great hit for me, because it saves the cost of electricity.

Dolphin & Waves Water Fountain

Your fountain will still be a great focal point in you garden, even though "Fall" is here and the temperatures are falling. You can safely leave your garden fountain running until the temperatures stay in the freezing zone. Always check to be sure there is plenty of water to recycle. This time of year you should also check to make sure that leaves and other debris do no clog the flow of water.

Standing Garden Water Fountains

To really make a focal point in you backyard there is nothing like a Garden Water Fountain. It makes a great place to relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of water, and to watch the birds as they bath and drink. It also makes for a great conversation piece when you have guests.
Now is a good time to starting planning your garden for the weather that will soon be here.

Gift Suggestions

Still trying to figure out a gift for Aunt Mary or for another family member or friend? Well I guarantee they will love to have a fountain. There are many to choose from. There are fountains that sit on a table/desk, on a wall (they can be used inside or out) and standing fountains (also can be used inside or outside).

Water fountains – bring the soothing sounds of flowing water into the home, but they also bring a visual element. Not only are water fountains beautifully designed and able to complement just about any existing home decor, the water itself lends another dimension of stress relief to the equation. Watching the dance and trickle of water as it flows across rocks, down textured surfaces, and into a basin at the bottom enhances our auditory experience. When we listen to sound machines or audio recordings of nature sounds, we may feel the need to close our eyes to block out visual distractions around us that take our minds away from the goal of relaxation. In contrast, the visual attributes of water fountains bring us closer to that goal by giving us something beautiful and elemental to focus on with our eyes as we listen with our ears.

Water Fountains

The sounds of gently flowing water or the splashing sounds of cascading water not only are fascinating to watch, but are great tools for destressing. Today we are all faced with a great deal of stress with the economy in a slump, gas prices, hours cut, etc. We would all benefit from a little destressing. Fountains are a great way to do just that!

Water Park

On a day like today, just the thought or sounds of water cascading makes it seem cooler! Makes you almost want to be a kid again so you can run through the water of a regular garden hose, but a trip to a water park would be even better.

Wall Fountains

The weather has finally turn HOT, and the birds taking the bird baths, fountains and pond. It is so much fun to watch them as the play. They splash about and chase each other, chirping all the while. Not much difference are the children as they chase, run and splash in the pool and/or fountain. The cool water makes you forget how hot it really is. Check out these fountains for your backyard enjoyment.

De-Stressing

What has been stressing you? Your job, co workers, perhaps the drive home? In any event, I'm sure you are ready to relax and de-stress. I have found that one of the quickest ways to "unwind" and begin de-stressing is to grab a cold drink and head for the backyard. This is my private sancutary! Here I can gather my thoughts and put things in their proper perspective.
Just looking at the flowers, the birds and the watching the water as it flows, splashing into the pond below. Here there is the serenity that I have been yearning for. The sound of the splashing water is mesmerizing and is very comforting. How do you de-stress?

Public Fountains

While vacationing this year, be sure to check out the public water fountains in the area. Most major cities have public water fountains. The fountains let you take in a fresh breath, and allow you to relax. You can just feel the stress melt away as you gaze into the water cascading down. Or close your eyes and listen to sounds of the water spashing.
Check out this public fountain if you get to Paris.

Wall Fountains

If water fountains are an allure for you, but you don't think that you have the room for one, check out the wall water fountains that are available. These virtually do not take up any new space. They are placed on an existing wall, could be the side of a house, garage or storage building. Just be sure you have a source of electric to run the pump that recycles the water.
You will still be able to see and hear the running splashing water.

Wall Water Fountains

Have you always wanted to do something with that bland garage wall but you just can't figure out what to do with it.
Bring the sounds of your water fountain into your backyard with a wall water fountain. Wall Fountains are a special addition to your surroundings. Studies have shown that the splashing water puts healthful negative ions into your surrounding environment. This helps to control allergies by keeping airborne dust partials to a minimum. The sound of flowing water also helps to relax and de-stress you after a long hard day.

Mountain Eagle

A favorite theme to any indoor or outdoor decor is Americana. You know red, white, blue, eagles, flags, etc. Almost anything that comes from early America.
There are many ways to carry this theme out. You can use Flags, benches, flower pots, plaques. You can create your own design of things. This makes it fun and unique. Or you can purchase your items online, in store or out of catalogs. Have fun!

Fountain Lights

Why not add some lights? Outdoor spotlights can hightlight your fountain from above or below the water level. You can find waterproof lights in most larger hardware stores or garden supply centers. Generally these lights come with colored lenses so that you can change them for different holidays, parties or as the season changes. I love to be able to view the fountain at all hours of the day and night.
